WHAT YOU MAY BE NAVIGATING
When it follows you into everyday life.
The setting may change, but the effect can follow you home. We can talk about what happened, how it has affected you, and what support would be useful now.
Online
Threats, conspiracy claims, dehumanizing comments, or the steady stream of posts that make it harder to step away and feel at ease.
On campus
Feeling isolated in a classroom or student group, seeing your concerns dismissed, or feeling pressure to defend your identity and community.
At work
Comments from colleagues, being treated as a spokesperson for all Jews, or wondering whether it is safe to speak openly in professional spaces.
OUR WORK TOGETHER
Your full story belongs here.
If you are looking for a Jewish therapist in Ohio, I offer a space where your Jewish identity can be part of your care. I am Aharon Weinstein, a Jewish psychotherapist providing online therapy to adults and seniors throughout the state.
Your Jewish life may include peoplehood, ancestral ties, traditions, relationships, and ordinary sources of meaning. All of these can be part of the conversation.
Care that understands the context
I have a working knowledge of the laws of Shabbat, kashrut, and niddah, as well as Jewish holidays and the rhythms of observant life. These commitments can shape routines, relationships, intimacy, and decisions about care. There is room to discuss them with respect for what they mean to you.
I also recognize the financial pressures religious families can face, including kosher food, Jewish education, holiday expenses, and the need to live near a community. These realities deserve space in therapy without having to explain the basics or defend your priorities.
We can make room for family and communal expectations, privacy concerns in close-knit communities, questions of belonging, and differences in observance within relationships. I will ask about your own experience rather than assume it from your background. You do not need to practice Judaism in a particular way to seek support here.
We can explore the emotional toll of repeated exposure, the choices you face in relationships and public spaces, and ways to care for yourself while staying connected to what matters to you. Our work is collaborative and paced around your needs.
